Takaro, New Zealand
Takaro is a masterplan for an 18 hole golf development with bespoke practice facilities for a Private Client in the South Island.
The first phase of the development is the bespoke practice area with a unique design based on the five elements, wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The facility includes five greens set around a complex of tees shaped in the five elements pentagon symbol allowing the players to practice in all directions to greens at varying distances. There is also a driving range playing towards a fully shaped fairway complete with bunker features and a large practice putting green.
The practice area is complete and in use by the Client and their guests.
